BetStars News is a long term project that will provide BetStars with a fully branded, region specific and entirely localised content hub across all tier 1 and tier 2 markets, publishing daily content with an always on approach.
A content hub that will allow us long term to attract new customers (drive trial), provide insight to existing customers (retain), and provide a wealth of content for re-purposing and use across the whole business (the content halo effect!)
Improve BetStars search visibility (via gaining links, attracting long-tail search traffic & providing fresh relevant content for Google to index – something the existing BetStars sportsbook site cannot do).
Increase brand awareness – make us stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Help cross-sell BetStars into the PokerStars base.
Provide a vast amount of best in class content for social, CRM, PR, & internal promotion purposes – the halo effect
I head up the cross-European editorial team, which now comprises of over 15 full and part-time journalists, researchers and designers, and is growing monthly.
